  1. Can I play in free duels?

Yes, as a Money Player you will have the opportunity to play in as many free training duels as you wish. Practice Players can also participate in free duels by using the free practice money that GameDuell provides for them.

  2. What kinds of duels are there and what are their differences?

We differentiate duels by their number of participants, entry fees, winnings and duration.

    • Two Player Duel: Two players participate in a duel and play against one another. The player that began the duel sets the entry fee. The possible winnings are automatically calculated from the sum of the entry fees. The duel lasts as long as it takes for the two players to reach a result.
    • Multiplayer Duel: Up to five players can participate in a multiplayer duel. The player that began the duel sets the entry fee. The possible winnings are automatically calculated from the sum of the entry fees. The duel lasts as long as it takes for all of the players to reach a result.
    • Mini-Leagues: In a mini-league, as many as 12 players compete against each other. Each player will play against each other player once. Whoever has the most victories wins. If there is a tie, then the winner will be the one with the most points.
  3. How long does a duel remain active?

A duel is generally active until an opponent finds it and plays the game. If no opponent accepts the duel within two days, then the duel is automatically ended.

  4. Where can I see when a duel ends?

    • Two player and Multiplayer Duels: : Two player and multiplayer duels are automatically ended after two days. If you have already participated, you can find the exact end time within your account information. To check this, log into your account and click on the "My GameDuell" tab. Click on "Open Duels" and you will find an overview of all duels and the exact time at which they will end.
  5. What will happen to my entry fee if no one accepts my duel?

If time runs out before the necessary number of participants has played, then each participant's money will be automatically refunded. You can review this by checking your account statement. To do so, please log into your account and click on the "My GameDuell" tab. From beneath the link "Account Statement," you can select an active time frame and see all transactions that took place.

Please note that this can take up to 48 hours.

  6. What does it mean when it says another player has already entered the duel that I wanted to enter?

You and another player clicked on the duel at the same time, but the other player was a split-second faster. In this case, the entry fee will not be deducted from your account. If this happens, simply enter another duel or begin a fresh one.

  7. Can I participate in the same multiplayer duel more than once to improve my score?

No, you can only participate in a multiplayer duel once.

  8. Transaction fee

GameDuell deducts a transaction fee from every money duel to cover game development and player account maintenance. The prize after selecting duel type and entry fee is the final prize after transaction fee.

    • On the left of the page, click on 'Finished duels'.

Here you will find a list of your finished duels, including scores and prizes.

You can view all duels you've played from the last 3 months. The option to filter by month is found at the top right.

  11. Where can I find the free training duels?

Clicking on any of the games on the homepage will direct you to the available duels for that particular game.

If you have not yet played a duel in a particular game, the training duels are found at the top of the page above all other duel options.

After you have played a money duel, the training duels are found at the bottom of the page, below any available mini-league games.

If you would like to practice a live game, ie. Rummy, then simply create a table and select the G£ 0 entry fee.

  12. Why can't I start a duel?

The number of duels you can open at GameDuell is limited. This is dependent on the number of duels a player already has open in a particular game and on the total number of open duels by all players in that game.

This limit prevents an unnecessarily high number of open duels which would not finish due to a lack of opponents.
